Description
Job Opportunity: CVOR Registered Nurse
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) as a Registered Nurse
- Evening shifts primarily:
- 5x8 shifts (2:30pm - 11:00pm) OR
- Combination of 2x8 and 2x12 shifts (10:30am - 11:00pm / 2:30pm - 11:00pm)
- Must be flexible with scheduling
- In-house weekend rotation aligned with staff requirements
- Call duties included for weekdays and weekends, distributed equitably
- Evening shift requires weekend call (~24 hours per 4-week period)
- Night shift has minimal weekend call
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience within the last year
- Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, and Transplant nursing experience
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
