Description

Job Opportunity: Surgical Tech

Location: Rapid City, South Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work in a surgical environment with 11 OR suites and 1 GI suite.
Focus on orthopedic and/or spine cases, averaging 30 to 50 cases per day.
Procedures include total joint replacements, spine surgeries (TLIF, PLIF, decompression, cervical fusions), arthroscopy (joint scopes), and hand and foot cases.
Experience with Mako Robot or other robotic surgical programs is required.

Schedule

10 or 12 hour shifts
No call and no weekends required

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years recent experience in orthopedic or spine surgical technology.
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Additional Information

Scrubs are provided.
No floating to other units or departments.
Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility.
Prior work history with the facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission if applicable.

This position is ideal for surgical technologists with orthopedic or spine experience looking for a focused surgical role without weekend or call responsibilities.
