Description

Job Opportunity: Surgical Tech

Location: Rapid City, South Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work in a surgical environment with 11 OR suites and 1 GI suite.
  • Focus on orthopedic and/or spine cases, averaging 30 to 50 cases per day.
  • Procedures include total joint replacements, spine surgeries (TLIF, PLIF, decompression, cervical fusions), arthroscopy (joint scopes), and hand and foot cases.
  • Experience with Mako Robot or other robotic surgical programs is required.

Schedule

  • 10 or 12 hour shifts
  • No call and no weekends required

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years recent experience in orthopedic or spine surgical technology.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Additional Information

  • Scrubs are provided.
  • No floating to other units or departments.
  • Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility.
  • Prior work history with the facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission if applicable.

This position is ideal for surgical technologists with orthopedic or spine experience looking for a focused surgical role without weekend or call responsibilities.
