Job Description
- This is a screening-only site position.
- No weekends or call required.
- Must be available to work every other holiday.
- Experience required in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Will accept first-time travelers.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Mammography Technologist license in Ohio
- Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification
- Experience in inpatient settings
- Experience in outpatient settings
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Skills / Procedures
- 3-D Mammography
- Diagnostic Mammograms
- Fine Needle Aspirations
- Needle Localizations
- Screening Mammograms
- Stereotactic Biopsy
Additional Requirements
- Traveler must be available to work every other holiday.
- The employer reserves the right to cancel up to 2 shifts per 13-week contract due to low census.
- The employer may cancel the agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine.
- Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives.
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- I-9 and E-Verify completed prior to start.
- Government-issued photo ID required.
- 7-year criminal background check within 12 months prior to start.
- Education verification (primary source) required.
- Physical exam within 2 years, indicating fitness to work.
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray documentation.
- Required immunizations or proof of immunity: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B.
- Drug screening within 12 months prior to start, including marijuana panel.
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season.
- Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year of start.
- References: 2 professional references within 2 years (1 must be a manager/supervisor/charge nurse).
- Current resume/application required.
- Skills checklist updated within 1 year.
- Competency exams and certifications as applicable.
Prior Travel Experience
- First-time travelers are accepted; prior travel experience is not required.
