Description

Registered Nurse - Orthopedics Bone & Joint (Night Shift)

Location: Herrin, Illinois
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible persons.
Use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
Contribute to a healthy workplace environment by managing conflict with professional communication skills.
Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
Participate in continuing education.
Maintain complete and accurate medical records.

Required Qualifications

Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
ACLS certification.
Experience or certification relevant to Orthopedics/Bone & Joint care preferred.
