Registered Nurse (Neurosurgery/Neuroscience) - Travel Position
Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

- Weekend Hours: Every other weekend

Required Certifications
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
- AHA NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Alabama
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of neurosurgery nursing experience
- Neurosurgery nursing experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Skills
- Experience in neuro and neurosurgery patient care
Unit & Patient Population
- Care for neurosurgery and neuroscience patients
- Positive attitude and good work ethic are important personality traits
Dress Code
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- No artificial fingernails allowed
Additional Information
- No call responsibilities
- Every other weekend coverage
- Position is on a neuro floor with specialized patient care needs
This position is ideal for an RN with at least 2 years of neurosurgery/neuroscience experience seeking a travel assignment with a defined schedule and no call duties.
