Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Caldwell, Idaho
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (Three 12-hour shifts per week, covering every other weekend; additional shifts available)

Unit Information

Unit: Respiratory Therapy
Number of Beds: 83
Staffing:
- Day Shift: Typically 2 RTs
- Night Shift: 1-2 RTs depending on census
Patient Ratios:
- 1 RT covers ICU, 1 RT covers med-surg and ED unless census is low, then 1 RT covers all
Equipment Used: AVEA ventilators, Hamilton C1
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy (RRT) experience, including experience within the last year
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification

Additional Information

Dress Code: Army green scrubs
Weekend and On-call: Every other weekend coverage required; ability to pick up extra shifts encouraged
