Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Kingman, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Orientation occurs every Monday.
• Charting system: Meditech preferred but not required.
• Blocked scheduling cannot be guaranteed.
• Float to other Medical Surgical units as needed.
• Weekend shifts every other weekend.
• Patient ratio approximately 1:5-6.
• Telemetry experience required due to potential for remote Telemetry monitoring.
• Both local nurses and first-time travelers are accepted at the same rate.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) certification
• National Technical Certification Verification
• State License Verification

Work Environment

• Float to other Medical Surgical units as needed.
• Weekend shifts every other weekend.
• Blocked scheduling not guaranteed.

Notes

• Prior travel experience is not required.
• Locals and first-time travelers are equally considered.
