Description

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Illinois, Carbondale

Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide respiratory care services as ordered by physicians, collaborating closely with medical and nursing staff. Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care plans within a multidisciplinary team. Educate patients and their families about respiratory disease processes, interventions, and discharge instructions. May be reassigned to other units as needed. Serve as a clinical role model and share knowledge with staff and students.

Required Qualifications

Associate’s degree
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
Illinois state respiratory therapist license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
