Registered Nurse – Orthopedics Bone & Joint (Night Shift)

Location: Herrin, Illinois
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Provide explanations and instructions to patients and responsible parties.
• Use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
• Manage conflict professionally to contribute to a healthy workplace environment.
• Meet Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care.
• Participate in continuing education.
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records.

Required Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• ACLS certification required.
• Experience in Orthopedics or Bone & Joint nursing preferred.
• Night shift availability.
