Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) - Day Shift

Job Description

Join a dynamic Med/Surg unit providing care primarily for adults with occasional pediatric patients. This role involves coordinating comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet the diverse needs of patients using the Nursing Process to make critical decisions.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a scenic, outdoor-oriented region of Vermont, ideal for those who enjoy an active lifestyle alongside their nursing career.

Note: This is not a pediatric floor, but occasional pediatric patients may be present. Pediatric-only nurses should not apply.

Required Qualifications

• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN license
• Minimum 3 years of acute care nursing experience (preference for Meditech experience)
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification
• ACLS certification

Additional Information

• Shift: Day shift
• Travelers start on Wednesdays
• Orientation week may have adjusted hours due to midweek start
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
