Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) - Night Shift

Location: St Johnsbury, Vermont

Job Description

Join a dynamic Med/Surg unit providing care primarily for adults with occasional pediatric patients. This position involves coordinating comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care. You will collaborate with a skilled team to meet the diverse needs of patients using the Nursing Process to make critical decisions.

This role emphasizes holistic care, addressing patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs with compassion and proficiency.

Note: This is not a pediatric floor, but occasional pediatric patients may be present. Pediatric-only RNs should not apply.

Required Qualifications

• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN license
• Minimum 3 years of acute care experience (preference for Meditech experience)
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification
• ACLS certification
• Flu shot required (no exceptions)

Additional Information

• Night shift position
• Travelers start on Wednesdays
• Orientation week may have adjusted hours due to midweek start
• Must be able to start on 4/29/2026
