Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - MS/Tele
Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Schedule: Every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed
- Float: Required; all travelers may float between campuses as needed
- Patient Ratio: 1:6
- Unit: Inpatient rehabilitation department specializing in care for patients with neurological diagnoses such as CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, stroke, aneurysm, post-op surgical, and generalized debility
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year acute care rehab experience preferred
- Travel Experience: No first-time travelers; prior travel experience required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in MS/Telemetry (MedSurg/Telemetry)
- Minimum 1 year of rehabilitation nursing experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Medication Administration Badge (MAB)
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
- Social Security Card
- Background check within 60 days covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
- Education verification (Associate's degree in nursing or higher required)
- Transcript/Diploma copy for highest education
- NURSYS license verification within 60 days of start
- Physical exam (if applicable)
- Immunizations and health documents including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 6 months
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B titer or declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 40 days of start
- Fit mask test (annual) for N95 respirators (not required for all positions)
- References: 2 supervisory references required from recent clinical assignments
- Employment application/resume with 7-year work history
- Work history verification for last 5 years
Additional Information
- Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and aware of a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- Candidates must complete a mandatory health history form and other facility-specific documents prior to clearance
- Floating between campuses is mandatory for all travelers
- Candidates must acknowledge and pass required orientation and competency exams, including medication and dysrhythmia/EKG competency exams
- Strict photo requirements for badge issuance (no selfies, group photos, or altered backgrounds)
- Candidates must complete onboarding tasks including multi-factor authentication setup for system access
