Location: Richland, Washington

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: Variable shifts including days, swings, and nights to cover leaves
• Shift Length: 8, 10, or 12 hours depending on coverage
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, on a rotation basis
• Floating: No floating between units
• On-call: Not required
• Patient Ratio: 1:1

Required Qualifications

• Valid MRI Technologist license in Washington
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI Technologist experience
• MRI Technologist experience within the last year

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the specialty (Radiology/Cardiology) is implied by the job title and description
• No explicit prior travel experience required

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years, updated annually
• Drug screening: 10 panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
• Immunizations and health documents required:

  • TDAP (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) vaccine or declination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season
  • COVID vaccine or declination
• Respirator fit testing required annually for travel candidates
• References: Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Employment application covering at least the last 5 years

Training and Competency

• Completion of required competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests as applicable
• Completion of facility and specialty-specific WorkRamp modules annually, including:

  • Regulatory requirements
  • Specialty-specific training for Radiology/Cardiology roles
  • Trauma-informed care modules (effective for new and extended placements starting 12/22/2025)
• Epic training modules may be required depending on assignment location

Additional Notes

• Position requires flexibility to work variable shifts with ample notice for schedule changes
• No floating between units expected
• Background checks and other compliance documents must be current and uploaded prior to start
• Badge photo required (passport style with neutral background)
• Must comply with Washington state-specific background and registry checks as applicable

This position is ideal for MRI Technologists with at least 1 year of experience who are licensed in Washington and comfortable with variable shifts including weekends. Compliance with health, background, and training requirements is mandatory.
