Job Description
- On-site position with an ASAP start.
- Role requires specialized ambulatory Cardiology nursing experience.
- Candidates with extensive inpatient cardiology experience but no ambulatory experience will also be considered.
- Must be able to cover a leave of absence and follow internal processes immediately.
- Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour day shifts.
- Weekend and on-call shifts are not required.
- Must have experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiology nursing experience.
- Cardiology experience within the last year.
- Experience in an outpatient setting.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
Additional Requirements
- Must be highly responsive to scheduling and interview requests (Teams interview required, respond within 24 hours).
- Must be present on submission and plan Return to Office (RTO) carefully for the 16-week duration.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO.
- Background check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years.
- Drug screening (10 panel) within 90 days of start.
- Immunizations and health documents required including:
- TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months.
- COVID-19 vaccination or declination.
- Flu vaccine during flu season or declination.
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years.
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer.
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer.
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination.
- Respirator fit testing required for travel candidates.
- References: Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting.
