Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech

Location: Burlington, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Cath Lab Tech with experience in Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab. IR experience is preferred. This is a day shift position with a 4x10 schedule (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM), including weekends and holidays as needed. Call is required approximately 12 days in an 8-week period, including 2-3 weekends on call (Friday through Monday).

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required.
• First-time travelers are welcome.

Required Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience, including cardiac cath lab experience within the last year
• Diagnostic & Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and RCIS certifications required

Schedule & Work Conditions

• 4x10 shifts, days (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Weekends and holidays as needed
• Call required: after hours on weekdays (5 PM - 7 AM) and 24 hours on weekends
• Scrubs provided

Compliance & Onboarding Requirements

• Completion of mandatory questionnaires prior to offer
• Submission of badge photo meeting strict facility requirements (no selfies, solid color background, business casual or uniform attire)
• Completion of health history form and other facility-specific documents
• Pass/fail testing including EPIC and Dysrhythmia/EKG exams as applicable
• References: 2 supervisory references required from recent assignments
• Employment application/resume with 7-year work history required
• Verification of all employment history within the last 5 years required

Additional Notes

• Facility has a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.
• Candidate must be flexible with scheduling.
• Background checks must be clear with no open hits.
• Fingerprinting required only for certain positions (not applicable here).
• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required.
