Job Opportunity: Oncology Radiation Therapist
Employment Type: Contractor
Contract Length: 7 weeks
Job Description
Seeking a Radiation Therapist with experience in oncology radiation therapy for an 8-week contract position. The role involves working with adult cancer patients using advanced radiation therapy equipment.
Patient Population
- Adults only
- All cancer-related diagnoses
- Patient ratio: 2:1
- Average patients per day: 20-45
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Varian True Beam and Aria systems
- Experience with Linear Accelerators and administering radiation treatments
- Licenses/Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT-Radiation Therapy
Preferred Skills
- Experience with DIBH (Deep Inspiration Breath Hold)
- Experience with SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy)
Work Environment & Support
- Support team includes Lead Therapist, other therapists, providers, leadership, and RN staff
- No floating required
- EMR system used: Aria
- Orientation up to 1 week, depending on comfort level
Schedule
- Shift: Approximately 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (may vary based on volume)
- No weekend shifts
- No on-call duties
- No holiday work required

- Scrub color: Any solid color
- Free on-site parking
- First-time travelers are accepted (no prior travel experience required)
