Job Opportunity: Oncology Radiation Therapist

Employment Type: Contractor
Contract Length: 7 weeks

Job Description

Seeking a Radiation Therapist with experience in oncology radiation therapy for an 8-week contract position. The role involves working with adult cancer patients using advanced radiation therapy equipment.

Patient Population

Adults only
All cancer-related diagnoses
Patient ratio: 2:1
Average patients per day: 20-45

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of experience with Varian True Beam and Aria systems
Experience with Linear Accelerators and administering radiation treatments
Licenses/Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT-Radiation Therapy

Preferred Skills

Experience with DIBH (Deep Inspiration Breath Hold)
Experience with SBRT (Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy)

Work Environment & Support

Support team includes Lead Therapist, other therapists, providers, leadership, and RN staff
No floating required
EMR system used: Aria
Orientation up to 1 week, depending on comfort level

Schedule

Shift: Approximately 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (may vary based on volume)
No weekend shifts
No on-call duties
No holiday work required

Scrub color: Any solid color
Free on-site parking
First-time travelers are accepted (no prior travel experience required)
