Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Location: Flagstaff, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (06:00 - 18:30, Days)
Weekend Requirement: As needed, weekend rotation possible
On Call: No

Job Description
Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least 1 year of experience in Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics. First-time travel therapists are accepted. Candidates must be physically able to work at an elevation of 7,000 feet.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Arizona
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to meet physical demands at high altitude (7,000 feet elevation)
- Background checks and verifications required within 30 days of start
- Drug testing (10-panel) within 30 days of start and updated annually
- Immunizations and health documents required, including:
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (preferred within last 10 years or declination)
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (proof of immunity or vaccination)
- Hepatitis B (proof of immunity, vaccination series, or declination)
- Varicella (proof of immunity or vaccination)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or facility-specific declination form
- COVID vaccination or declination with facility-specific form

Scheduling & Hours
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Facility may call off up to 6 times during the 13-week assignment period

- Prior travel experience is not required
- Candidates must complete facility-specific job description and policies prior to start
- Photo for badge and security forms required before start
- Fit mask (N95) testing required within 1 year and updated annually; onsite fit testing available if needed
- References: Two professional references required (one from most recent employer within 1 year)
- Employment application required with 3 years of work history and explanation of any gaps
