Description

Job Opportunity: Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer Pediatrics

Location: Flushing, New York
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 9 weeks

Job Description

Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
Assignment duration: 9 weeks
Perform pediatric echocardiography using all echocardiogram equipment and procedures
Identify and resolve or report equipment problems
Recognize patient issues and escalate to clinical assistance (MD/RN) as needed
Basic clerical skills required

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Technologist (Tech I), including pediatric echocardiography experience
Echo Technologist experience within the last year
Experience working with pediatric patients
Certification: Echocardiography CCI or ARMS (Echo) Certification
