Description

Respiratory Therapist - Contract

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Assess patients with breathing issues through examinations, blood/sputum analysis, and lung capacity tests.
Administer treatments including oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy to improve breathing.
Manage, set up, and operate mechanical ventilators for patients unable to breathe independently.
Provide emergency care such as artificial respiration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Document patient records, collaborate with physicians on treatment plans, and assist with discharge planning.
Educate patients and families on disease management and use of home respiratory equipment.

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year

Additional Notes

No prior travel experience required.
