Radiologic Technologist - General Imaging
Employment Type: Contractor
Schedule: Part Time, 24 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a Radiologic Technologist with strong surgical and procedural imaging skills for a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The position involves working in diagnostic imaging with a focus on surgical/procedure cases including fluoroscopy and OR support.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of acute or surgical radiologic technologist experience
- Preference for candidates with highly competent surgery and procedure experience
- First-time travelers may be considered depending on skill level
Patient Population
- Inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, procedural patients
- All age ranges, with limited pediatric cases
Required Licenses and Certifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Wisconsin
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of radiology technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Highly competent surgery and procedure experience
Skills and Competencies
- Surgical/procedure imaging, general radiography, portable X-rays
- Fluoroscopy experience including ERCPs, bronchoscopies, pain clinic procedures, urology cases
- Operating room imaging: orthopedic, general surgery, spine cases
- Comfort with O-arm imaging preferred
Department Support
- Lead technologist on first shift
- Radiologist available onsite 24/7
- Multiple technologists across shifts (days, evenings, nights)
- Respiratory therapy, hospitalist, and intensivist support 24/7
Technology and Equipment
- EMR system: EPIC
- X-ray equipment brands: GE, Fuji, Del Medical
- PACS: McKesson
- C-arm models: GE 9900, Elites, Medtronic O-arms
Orientation and Training
- Neonatal orientation provided
- 7-day orientation period in the department
Scheduling Details
- Weekend rotation: every other weekend
- On-call required: one call shift per week (three shifts covering 06:30-22:30 and overnight)
- Holiday expectation: one holiday per contract
- Shift start times may flex by 1 to 1.5 hours depending on staffing needs

Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 2 years of radiology technologist experience, including experience within the last year
