Registered Nurse - Critical Care

Location: Marion, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night shift (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
Start Date: April 13, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide critical care nursing in a critical care unit setting.
• Requires at least 2 years of experience in the specialty.
• Prior travel experience is required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Coronary Care Unit (CCU), with at least some experience within the last year.
• Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment.
• Current certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association.

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
• Criminal background check completed within 30 days of start (7-year search including SSN trace, counties, national criminal, and sex offender checks).
• Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start.
• Respirator fit test within 3 months of start and annually (specific mask types required).
• Immunizations and titers:

  • Tdap vaccine or declination.
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 3 months of start.
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) positive titer or 2 vaccines (boosters required if negative/equivocal).
  • Hepatitis B titer or declination.
  • Varicella positive titer or 2 vaccines (boosters required if negative/equivocal).
• Drug screening (5 panel or more) within 30 days of start.
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Oct-April) unless exempted.
• Two professional references within 3 years.
• Annual skills checklist and facility-specific mandatory training.
