Physical Therapist (Rehabilitation) - Temp Position

Job Description

Physical therapy helps reduce pain and restore function and independence in patients who have undergone surgery, suffered an injury, are recovering from serious illness, or are coping with a chronic condition. The rehabilitation team uses a multidisciplinary approach, combining exercise and strength training with manual therapy and modalities to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

Treatment begins with a physician's prescription and a comprehensive evaluation by an experienced physical therapist. The therapist works one-on-one with the patient, following a specific plan of care designed to help the patient return to work and normal daily activities as quickly and safely as possible.

This role primarily focuses on inpatient care but may also involve outpatient and long-term care settings.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience
• Valid Physical Therapist license for Michigan
• Experience working with inpatient populations preferred
