Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiology Technician license in South Carolina
  • Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience as an X-Ray Technician

Additional Requirements

  • Clear, passport-style photo for badge (frontal view, shoulders up, solid light background, business casual attire).
  • Completion of facility-specific orientation modules prior to start (approximately 2 hours).
  • Upload COVID and flu vaccine documentation into facility system prior to start.
  • Radiation badge process may take 5-7 days; candidates cannot start patient care without badge.
  • Physical assessment for sterile processing techs if applicable.
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

Notes

  • Candidates must renew certifications if expiring within 30 days of start or have scheduled renewal courses.
  • Fit testing and immunizations must be current and documented.
  • Background checks and verifications must be completed within specified timeframes.
  • Facility-specific instructions and compliance with all credentialing and onboarding requirements are mandatory.

This position offers a 13-week travel contract opportunity for qualified X-Ray Techs with experience in Radiology/Cardiology specialties, meeting all licensure, certification, and compliance requirements.
