• Unit: Respiratory Therapy
• Number of Beds: 437
• Staffing:

  • Approximately 60 staff members
  • Day Shift: Director, Manager, Supervisor, 8-10 RRTs
  • Night Shift: Supervisor, 8-10 RRTs
• Patient Ratios: About 44-46 procedures per shift
• Equipment Used:

  • Servo I ventilators
  • Nebulizer
  • Hamilton ventilators
  • V60 ventilators
  • Astral CPAP & BiPAP machines
  • ABGs (Arterial Blood Gases)
  • CPT (Chest Physiotherapy)
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Job Description

• Provide treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, including asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with collaborative physician relationships.
• Active disciplinary approach and critical thinking required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in an Acute Care setting
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, NBRC
