Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Contract Position

Location: New Lisbon, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for assessing and administering medications to residents, reporting any changes in condition to the charge nurse and physicians, updating family members, and assisting CNAs with their duties.

Essential Job Duties

Administer medications to residents following the 5 Rights of medication administration
Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to appropriate leadership
Communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse
Assist CNAs with answering call lights and other responsibilities
Update physicians and family members as needed regarding resident condition
Perform other duties as requested

Required Qualifications

Valid LPN/LVN license in Wisconsin
Minimum of 1 year of LPN/LVN experience within the last year
Current BLS certification
Experience in Long Term Care

Additional Information

Shift: Full Time, PM Shift (2pm-10pm), every other weekend schedule
Prior travel experience is not specified as required for this position
