Description
Job Opportunity: PACU Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Easton, Maryland
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview
- Role: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse
- Shift: Day position with variable shifts (8 to 10 hours) between 07:00 and 20:30
- Patient Population: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults
- Holidays: Required as scheduled
- Weekends: Every other weekend required
- Floating: Required within specialty and to other units within scope
- On-call: Required; typically two shifts in a four-week period, occasionally three
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care (1 year of experience)
- PACU - Post Anesthesia Care experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Requirements
- Must be available for floating and on-call duties as described
- Must comply with all facility policies and procedures
- Must complete all required health screenings and documentation prior to start
- Must be able to work variable day shifts within PACU operating hours
