Location: Hudson, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
Join a robust Electrophysiology (EP) program at a Level II Trauma Center with a great team and physicians. This role involves working in a 2 EP Lab unit equipped with GE X-ray and Claris hemodynamic systems. The unit uses Mac Lab/Meditech EMR.
Unit Details:
- Beds: 2 EP Labs
- Staff: 1 Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), 4.5 RNs
- Shifts: Day and Night (varied staffing including charge, RN, CNA, sitters)
- Patient Ratios: Not applicable
- Call Requirement: None
Typical Procedures
- A-Fib Ablations
- EP Diagnostics
- Device Insertions
- TEE/CV (Transesophageal Echocardiogram/Cardiovascular)
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
- Experience as an Electrophysiology Cardiovascular Technologist (EP CVT)
- Experience in Radiology related to EP Tech role (1 year)
- BLS Certification required
Preferred Skills
- Cath Lab experience
Work Schedule
- Scheduled according to facility policy
- Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
