Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job in Burlington, North Carolina

Job Details

Location: Burlington, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12 hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), occasional 3 PM - 3 AM shifts as needed
Call: No call required
Special Care Populations: Cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, behavioral health
Unit Specialties: Cath lab, women's health, stroke care
Patient Population: All ages

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse license in North Carolina
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) certification
Pass/Fail EKG and Medication Pass testing
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
STEMI facility experience
Stroke facility experience and stroke care experience
