Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist - Outpatient
Location: Battle Creek, Michigan
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Thursday: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Call Requirement: None
- Weekend Requirement: None
- Float Requirement: None
- Patient Focus:
- Required skills in Orthopedic and Neurological therapy
- Pelvic floor therapy patients highly preferred but not required
- Hours: Three days with 6 PM end time are required; shorter days are negotiable
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Michigan
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience, including experience within the last year
- Minimum 1 year of experience in outpatient Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Skills in Orthopedic therapy
- Skills in Neurological therapy
Additional Information
- No prior travel experience is explicitly required for this position.
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency must be completed within 1 year prior to assignment start with a passing score of at least 80%.
- Fit testing may be required depending on work location and role specifics.
- Candidates must comply with all required background checks, certifications, and health documentation prior to start.
