Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift) - Temp Position

Location: Berlin, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6 PM - 6 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Description

• Typical therapist-to-patient ratio: 1:5 or 1:6
• Patient care areas include Emergency Department (ED), inpatient units, and transport to tertiary care centers
• Dress code: Scrubs (any color, no denim), closed-toe shoes, no perfume or cologne

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of current acute care experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• High degree of proficiency with ventilators
• Experience with HHN, BiPAP, and CPAP (required)
• Active NBRC certification
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure for New Hampshire (temporary NH RCP licensure acceptable; must be willing to apply upon offer)
• Submission must include license verification and all current licenses/certifications
• Must provide a supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment
• Must submit a Respiratory Therapist skills checklist
• Permanent address must be included in submission
• Return to Office (RTO) date must be included in submission

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel experience highly preferred

• The facility is a small, critical access hospital with 25 beds, providing 24/7 emergency care and in-house treatment of most medical issues
