Description
Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) - Temp Position
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
Provide a full range of diagnostic and clinical services for inpatients and outpatients across all age groups (infant to geriatric) with speech and language problems, cognitive deficits, voice and fluency issues, and swallowing disorders. Work within a multidisciplinary team.
The clinician may be required to float between inpatient and outpatient rehab settings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Speech and Language Pathologist in the State of Oklahoma
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an SLP
- Willingness to float between inpatient and outpatient rehab settings
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- ACLS certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with neurogenic patients and dysphagia
- Recent travel experience as an SLP preferred
Additional Information
- Must provide recent work history and skills checklist relevant to the specialty
- Two supervisory references from within the last two years required
- Candidates local to the area may be considered with adjusted terms
