Job Opportunity: Infusion RN
Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide nursing care for oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy and supportive care, as well as other treatment types.
- Work closely with oncology providers.
- Staffing is based on an acuity scale.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Performance expectations are set at low/mid/high levels; failure to meet expectations may result in immediate contract termination.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
- Minimum of 1 year of infusion nursing experience, with infusion experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
- STABLE certification
- National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification
- Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) certification
- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification
- Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in oncology patient care, including chemotherapy and supportive care
