Description

Job Opportunity: Infusion RN

Location: Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide nursing care for oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy and supportive care, as well as other treatment types.
Work closely with oncology providers.
Staffing is based on an acuity scale.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
Performance expectations are set at low/mid/high levels; failure to meet expectations may result in immediate contract termination.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska
Minimum of 1 year of infusion nursing experience, with infusion experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
STABLE certification
National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification
Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) certification
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification
Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in oncology patient care, including chemotherapy and supportive care
