Description
Nuclear Medicine Technician
Location: York, Maine
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Split hours between outpatient cardiology office (for nuclear stress testing) and main campus (for general nuclear medicine testing)
- Perform a variety of general nuclear medicine studies as well as cardiac studies
- IV insertion
- Safe handling and storage of radioactive materials
- Maintain accreditation and radioactive materials license
- Detailed documentation and excellent communication with cardiologists and radiologists
- Provide exceptional patient care
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in Maine
- Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS Certification
- CNMT licensure
Additional Information
- Accurate timecard submission is required for payment processing
