Description

Job Opportunity: Med Surg/Telemetry RN - Days

Location: Morristown, Vermont
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide age-specific, direct patient care using the Nursing Process.
Deliver nursing care within Department of Nursing Standards and Specialty Specific Standards.
Assume leadership responsibilities, including delegation to other staff.
Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal healthcare laws, regulations, and policies.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Vermont
Minimum 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
De-escalation training (active or scheduled by Clinical Orientation)
Stepdown nursing experience

Specialty

Medical-Surgical and Telemetry Nursing

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing (based on typical specialty requirements).
No explicit prior travel experience required.

Note: This position is for a day shift.
