Registered Nurse - ICU (Travel Assignment)

Location: Dickson, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

• Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Number of Beds: 6
• Patient Ratios: Mainly 2:1, some 1:1 and 3:1
• Staffing: 1 Nurse Tech available
• Equipment: Arctic Sun, Continuous EEG, newest GE ICU monitors
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Scheduling: 36 hours per week, every other weekend
• Floating Policy: Floats to ICU overflow unit
• Unit Expansion: Newly approved ICU expansion to double capacity
• Recognition: One of the highest-ranking facilities for quality and staff engagement

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
• ICU experience within the last year
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• BLS certification

Additional Information

• Dress code requires Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs
• Unit-specific policies and guidelines provided during onboarding with facility educator
• Expanding service lines and acuity within the ICU unit
