Job Description

Shift Options:
- 06:45 - 15:15
- 09:30 - 18:00
- 14:45 - 23:15
Types of Cases Required:
- Cardiac surgery including CABG (on/off pump), AVR, MVRR, TVRR, aortic aneurysm/dissection, total artificial heart, heart transplant, LVAD implantation, minimally invasive valve replacement, trans-catheter mitral/aortic/tricuspid valve replacement
- Vascular surgery including endovascular and open vascular procedures: AAA, thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysm (including fenestrated grafts), endarterectomy, bypass for peripheral artery disease, amputation, ECMO decannulation and repositioning
Preferred Case Experience:
- General, endo/laparoscopic, vascular, thoracic, bariatrics, transplant
Specific CVOR Case Experience Required:
- Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair
- Atrial Septal Defect repair
- Carotid endarterectomy
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft
- Endovascular Aneurysm Repair
- Endovascular Aortic Repair (EVAR)
- Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft
- Mitral Valve Replacement
- Pericardial Window
- Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR)
- Ventricular Assist Device (VAD)
- ECMO
Operating Rooms: 6 total (4 ORs, 1 Hybrid, 1 PV)
Weekend Requirement: Up to 2 weekends per month, holiday call as needed
On-Call Requirement: Up to 2 weekdays per week, plus weekends and holidays as needed
Floating: No floating required
Locals Accepted: No (must be outside 100-mile radius)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
First-Timers Accepted: Yes
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CVOR Technologist, with experience within the last year
- National certification required: NBSTSA or NCCT
- BLS certification required
Facility & Work Environment
- Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care
- Magnet recognized, Teaching hospital, Level III Trauma center
- Total staffed beds: 672
- Charting system: Excellian/Epic
- Scrub color provided for this position
- Parking available at a flat rate
Additional Notes
- Candidates must complete assigned pre-orientation modules within 72 hours of receiving login credentials
- Passport-style photo required within 48 hours of contract signing for badge issuance
- Background checks and fingerprinting must be completed and cleared prior to start date
- No floating to sister facilities or block schedule accommodations
- No pending state license accepted
