Description
Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray (Night Shift)
Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Work setting includes outpatient, inpatient, emergency room (ER), and surgery departments.
- Average scans per day: 100-120.
- Equipment used: Siemens (x-ray rooms and portable units) and GE C-arm in surgery.
- Responsibilities include performing X-Ray imaging and transporting ER patients and outpatients.
- Work hours: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime applicable after 40 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Iowa
- Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Experience working in outpatient, inpatient, emergency room (ER), and surgery settings
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system
Additional Information
- New travel technologists are welcome to apply.
- Orientation scheduled prior to assignment start.
- Professional references from supervisors or clinical leadership within the last 24 months are preferred.
