Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech

Location: Washington, District of Columbia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Position: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Technician
Shift: 4 shifts of 12 hours each
- Day shifts: 06:30 AM – 07:00 PM (majority of shifts)
- Evening shifts: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM (up to two weeks of the six-week schedule)
On Call/Weekend Requirement:
- 6 calls per 6-week schedule
- 1 weekend shift and/or 1 holiday per 6-week schedule
Float Requirement: May float to general surgery if no cardiac cases available
Scrubs Provided
Flu vaccine required for all employees

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a CVOR Technologist
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
Experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Proficient in case cart management and scrubbing techniques
