Respiratory Therapist - Contract Opportunity

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Interviewing and examining patients, performing bedside checks, and evaluating lung capacity
• Administering aerosolized medications, performing chest physiotherapy, and maintaining airways
• Setting up, monitoring, and managing artificial ventilation for patients in intensive care or those needing life support
• Providing emergency care, including intubation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as part of rapid response teams
• Conducting and interpreting blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests to measure oxygen/carbon dioxide levels and lung volume
• Instructing patients and families on managing chronic lung conditions and using home medical equipment

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
