Job Opportunity: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech

Location: Medford, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks

Job Details

Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
Shift Requirements:
- Weekends required (Friday night shift extends into Saturday morning)
- Block schedules required
Float: No floating between units
On-call: Not required
Patient Ratio: 2:1
Charting System: Epic
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
Total Beds: 108
Scrub Policy: Any color for RN/Allied; scrubs provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, PACU, and Maternal Child units

Required Qualifications

Valid Polysomnographer license in Oregon
Minimum of 1 year of Polysomnographer experience
Polysomnographer experience within the last year

Experience

Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty (Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics) required
No explicit prior travel experience required

Background and Compliance

Background check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
Education verification required
Employment application covering at least last 5 years
Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in comparable specialty/setting
Various state-specific background and registry checks as applicable

Additional Requirements

Completion of required WorkRamp modules and facility-specific training prior to start
Float policy acknowledgment (may be required to float within reasonable distance)
Badge photo (passport style with neutral background) required
Annual regulatory and specialty-specific modules required for travel and per diem staff

Notes

Parking is free at the facility
Scrubs are provided for certain units; otherwise, any color scrubs allowed for allied staff
This position uses Epic for charting
