Job Opportunity: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech

Location: Medford, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks


Job Details

  • Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
  • Shift Requirements:
    • Weekends required (Friday night shift extends into Saturday morning)
    • Block schedules required
  • Float: No floating between units
  • On-call: Not required
  • Patient Ratio: 2:1
  • Charting System: Epic
  • Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
  • Total Beds: 108
  • Scrub Policy: Any color for RN/Allied; scrubs provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, PACU, and Maternal Child units

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Polysomnographer license in Oregon
  • Minimum of 1 year of Polysomnographer experience
  • Polysomnographer experience within the last year

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty (Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics) required
  • No explicit prior travel experience required

Background and Compliance

  • Background check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
  • Education verification required
  • Employment application covering at least last 5 years
  • Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in comparable specialty/setting
  • Various state-specific background and registry checks as applicable

Additional Requirements

  • Completion of required WorkRamp modules and facility-specific training prior to start
  • Float policy acknowledgment (may be required to float within reasonable distance)
  • Badge photo (passport style with neutral background) required
  • Annual regulatory and specialty-specific modules required for travel and per diem staff

Notes

  • Parking is free at the facility
  • Scrubs are provided for certain units; otherwise, any color scrubs allowed for allied staff
  • This position uses Epic for charting
