Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Health/Hospice
Location: Iron Mountain, Michigan
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Description
- Provide nursing care to Home Health and Hospice patients with diagnoses including CHF, Diabetes, Renal Disease, Wound Care, and IV therapy.
- Manage drains and other medical devices in the home environment.
- Perform Start of Care (SOC), Recertifications, and Resumptions.
- Typical patient load: about 6 visits per day (1 admission plus 3-4 follow-up patients).
- No ventilator support provided for patients.
- Participate in on-call rotation (usually one night per week and rotating weekends).
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with rotating weekends and evening on-call shifts.
- Weekend requirement: typically every 4th or 5th weekend.
- Holiday requirement: up to two holidays per year.
- Nurses will float between Home Health and Hospice; primary hospice patients usually not assigned to travel nurses but may be seen on call with training provided.
- Dress code: any solid color, clean and professional attire.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license.
- Recent Home Health experience within the last 2 years.
- Proficiency in OASIS documentation.
- Experience in wound care and excellent infection control practices in the home setting.
- BLS (AHA) certification required.
Additional Information
- Scheduling is managed by the office.
- Home Health/Hospice aides (CNAs) are available to assist.
- Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility.
- Prior experience with this employer requires a minimum 6-month gap before reapplying.

This is a 13-week contract for an RN with recent Home Health experience, strong OASIS documentation skills, and wound care expertise. The role involves patient visits in the home setting, participation in on-call rotations, and working rotating weekends and holidays. BLS certification and current RN licensure are required.
