Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

Location: Akron, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Summary

Seeking an experienced X-Ray Tech specializing in Radiology/Cardiology for a travel contract assignment.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid Radiology Technician license in Ohio
  • Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience as an X-Ray Technician

Additional Information

  • Badge photo required prior to start for clearance (except X-Ray and MRI Techs who pick up badges on first day).
  • Fingerprinting results must be received prior to contract extension start; some exceptions apply for X-Ray Techs allowing start with pending agency fingerprint results if fingerprints are completed.
  • Travelers must complete all onboarding modules prior to clearance to start.
  • Physical exam does not need annual update if currently on assignment without break.
  • Latex allergy notification required if applicable to ensure proper supplies.
  • Flu vaccine or approved exemption required during flu season (Oct 31 - Mar 31). Declinations are not accepted.
  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.

Experience Requirement

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting in a similar area (per employment application requirement).
