Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology (Days)

Location: Peterborough, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Urgent need for a Registered Nurse to provide outpatient oncology care in a newly expanded personalized clinic setting. The clinic administers all FDA-approved chemotherapeutic and biologic drugs and offers infusions, transfusions, and injections for patients with blood, immune, genetic, and hereditary disorders.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years current experience in Outpatient Oncology & Infusion
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification (ONS/ONCC)
• Port/Catheter/Fistula experience
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Oncology skills checklist completed
• 1 supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment
• Current RN license in good standing

Preferred Qualifications

• IV Certification / Peripheral IV Insertion experience
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Additional Information

• Must be able to start ASAP (pending compliance)
• The facility is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital offering Medical, Surgical, Intensive Care, Obstetrics, Pediatrics, and Mental Health services, along with a variety of outpatient services including Pulmonary, Cardiac, and Physical Rehabilitation.
• Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply.
