Job Description

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a Level II Trauma Center in Bradenton, FL. The position involves working in a respiratory unit with a bed capacity of 383. The unit uses equipment such as Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, and Vapotherm, and utilizes Meditech for electronic medical records.

Work Schedule

• Scheduled according to facility policy
• Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff

Required Certifications & Licenses

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
• Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• ICU experience preferred

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• Familiarity with ICU procedures and protocols
