Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights)
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
- Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
- Adjust specialized medical equipment as needed
- Interpret and record measurements
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report adverse medication reactions promptly
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 1 year of telemetry experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Knowledge of NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays
- Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted terms
- On-call pay policy applies (details not included here)
- Non-compete: Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after direct employment ended
