Description

Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Join the Labor & Delivery (L&D) team in the Family Birthplace due to high birth volume (approximately 60-80+ deliveries per month).
  • Provide care in L&D, Operating Room (OR), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and postpartum, including couplet care for babies 32 weeks and older.
  • Work with a collaborative and evidence-based care team focused on delivering a compassionate, patient-centered experience.
  • Schedule: 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends.
  • Call rotation: Typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks (subject to change).

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • Minimum of 4 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
  • Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
  • American Heart Association BLS certification
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • STABLE certification (post-resuscitation care for newborns)
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

  • Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
  • Prior travel experience is required.
