Description

Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Join the Labor & Delivery (L&D) team in the Family Birthplace due to high birth volume (approximately 60-80+ deliveries per month).
Provide care in L&D, Operating Room (OR), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and postpartum, including couplet care for babies 32 weeks and older.
Work with a collaborative and evidence-based care team focused on delivering a compassionate, patient-centered experience.
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends.
Call rotation: Typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks (subject to change).

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Minimum of 4 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
American Heart Association BLS certification
American Heart Association ACLS certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
STABLE certification (post-resuscitation care for newborns)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility.
Prior travel experience is required.
