EP Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Miami, Florida
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit Type: Electrophysiology (EP)
- Number of Beds: 21
- Number of Staff: 30
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: 7:00 am – 5:30 pm
- Night Shift: Not specified
- Patient Ratios: Typically 1 patient at a time in procedure rooms
- Equipment Used: Philips, GE, Mac Lab
- Documentation Systems: Meditech, Mac Lab
- Call Requirements: 2-3 weekends plus some weekdays, totaling 10 to 15 call shifts per month
Typical Procedures Performed
- Cardiac Catheterization
- Peripheral Procedures
- Structural Heart Procedures
- EP Studies and Ablations
- Device Implants
- Bedside Procedures including Cardioversion, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Loop Recorder Insertion, Tilt Table Testing
Required Qualifications
- Electrophysiology Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Electrophysiology Technician experience within the last year
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Additional Preferences
- Ability to adapt easily to changes and a fast-paced environment
- Ability to function well independently
Dress Code
- Scrubs color: Baby Blue (provided by the facility)
