Description
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Contract
Location: Aberdeen, Washington
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 40 hours per week, primarily day shifts (8-hour shifts), hours may vary according to OR schedule, including on-call hours. Holidays are normally off unless on-call.
Position Overview
The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) provides essential support to the Operating Room (OR), Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Day Surgery areas. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and aseptic conditions, preparing equipment and supplies for procedures, and assisting with clerical or administrative duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Surgical Technician license in Washington
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technician experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED) or successful completion of a Surgical Technologist course
Additional Information
- On-call hours required
- Located near Pacific Northwest beaches and Olympic National Forest
