Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: La Plata, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30)
Schedule Details:

• Every other weekend required, as scheduled
• Holidays required as they fall, as scheduled
• Floating within specialty as needed
• No on-call required

Neonates, Pediatrics, Adults, Geriatrics

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• First-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience NOT required)

Required Licenses and Certifications

• CRT or RRT license
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and neuro diagnostic services within the specialty
• Float within the specialty as needed
• Work scheduled shifts including every other weekend and holidays

Required Qualifications and Compliance

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Maryland
• Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification

Additional Notes

• No on-call duties required
• Floating within respiratory specialty as needed
• Compliance with facility-specific confidentiality, dress code, and other policies required prior to start
• Time-sensitive documents and agreements must be completed before start date

This position offers a travel contract opportunity for experienced Respiratory Therapists with required certifications and a minimum of 2 years of experience. The role involves working with a diverse patient population across all age groups and requires flexibility for weekend and holiday shifts.
