Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Assignment

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

• Weekly Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Hours: Every other weekend

Unit Information

• Unit: Surgical ICU (SICU)
• Number of Beds: 12
• Patient Ratios: 2:1
• Patient Types: Surgical, vascular, and ICU patients
• Float Requirements: Must be able to float to any ICU unit

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alabama
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Skills and Experience

• Must have ICU experience
• Comfortable working with surgical and vascular ICU patients
• Ability to float to other ICU units as needed

Work Environment and Dress Code

• Scrub Color: Navy
• No fake nails allowed
